Here are some ideas for things to see and do along the Hunter Valley Way

  • Wallis Creek Water Gardens at Mulbring
  • Spend a day at the Richmond Vale Rail Museum
  • Stroll around the Kurri Kurri business district  and view the 55 outdoor murals
  • Take in the spectacular wine region of Lovedale with the many fine wineries and restaurants
  • Take a break in Branxton, have lunch at the Royal Federal Hotel and if you have an RV, drop into Branxton Oval.
  • Visit the Hermitage road Cellar doors, restaurants and the Matilda Bay Brew House at Hunter Resort.
  • Spend a leisurely day in the Broke Fordwich wine region enjoying the spectacular Broken Back Ranges and the great wines this area produces
  • Have lunch in Denman at two great pubs and enjoy the wines and olives that are produced in the part of the Hunter Valley.
  • You can also stop over for the night at the Denman Van Village before travelling through to;
  • Merriwa where you can stop again for lunch use the RV dump point and a take a break before leaving the Hunter Valley on your journey west.
